Bielle-Biarrey voted best player of Six Nations for second time

France winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey has been voted best player of the Six Nations Championship for the second season running, organisers announced Thursday.

Text size:

Scorer of 29 tries in 27 internationals for France, Bielle-Biarrey set a record of nine tries in the recently-completed Six Nations won by Les Bleus.

That included four tries in the nail-biting 48-46 victory over England in the final match of the Championship.

The previous record of eight tries in one championship was shared between Bielle-Biarrey (2025), England's Cyril Lowe (1914) and Scot Ian Smith (1925).

The 22-year-old Bordeaux-Begles player is also alone in having scored at least one try in every match of the last two Six Nations.

Bielle-Biarrey was up against Italy centre Tommaso Menoncello, Ireland centre Stuart McCloskey and Scotland winger Kyle Steyn for the accolade.
